Gentlemen, maybe we’re starting a club or something here, but I as well agree. I will say I like the new Chargers better than the P things, but my decision would have been to rebuild the F40’s any day.

We need to go back to the "E" and "F" unit car body styles and get and quit with the European style designs. The F40's were good units.

I agree enough with the European look of put a brick on wheels and send it down the line. Not a fan of EMD E's and F's but I would take them over what we are getting today. Now maybe bring back a shark nose Baldwin or early E-units with the raked nose and the frenched headlight and ditch lights now that would be something to see. With High resolution cameras and maybe a back porch on the locomotive all of the limitations of the covered wagons can be eliminated.
