Nicely done, John!

Such a beautiful capture, John, and thank you for sharing it with us! I am amazed that a few (three or four I believe) of the Ann Arbor Railroad's ten GP35s (385-394) still operate with their original numbers, and on home rails 57 years after they were delivered brand-new from EMD in the spring and early summer of 1964! Growing up in Ann Arbor during the '60s and '70s, I spent my teen years (and then some) "hanging out" at the Ann Arbor's Ferry Yard in Ann Arbor, MI. I have ridden all ten of the GP35s at one time or another, whether it was in local service, or a round trip ride between Ann Arbor and the "end of the line" at Boat Landing (Elberta, MI). Thanks again for posting, and also for the wonderful memories your awesome photo has stirred up in my mind, or what's left of it!
