Love everything about this shot Bill! Those Big Sky Blue SDs really stand out against the snow. The Superior yard engines were some of the last in old paint, some units until the first few months of 1977. Superior seemed to be one of the last terminals to renumber units to BN in 1970. Most didn't get BN numbers until late fall 1970. Where most terminals used end cab switchers for yard duties, the BN in Superior always preferred six axle yard engines and still do to this day.
