It was amazing to be able to see Milwaukee GP40's still running in bandit paint into the early part of this last decade. I thought they would have been in New paint or sold off before then. I was even surprised to find out well after the fact that a few of the former Milwaukee Road SD40-2's still in their original livery made their way to the Pacific Northwest way back in the mid and late 1980's over the BN. I didn't catch any in Spokane until a couple were in GATX paint.
