Great Pic! I am a little surprised that they let you get that close to the train with the way the world is today.

Yea, well publicity is always good for a presidential canidate, plus there were many photographers there, both from newspapers, and other railfans, so I don't think they took much notice. I was "technically" on RR property, the center platform at Kirkwood, that is, but they pretty much shut down the UP Jeff City Sub for around 2 1/2 - 3 hours in anticipation of the special, there was no real danger standing there at that time.
