How could one possibly miss that sign. The food almost ANYWHERE is BETTER than Waffle House.

Nice take on this scene - glad it was accepted as the locomotive rarely guess much publicity. Though admin may have waffled back and forth on the aerial, there does not seem to be many other options.

Thank you Mitch. I considered not posting it, but I felt that if anything the WH sign gave it a sense of uniqueness. There are plenty of ground level photos with similar signs. Your definitely correct - near permanent back-lighting and a fence make a decent ground-level photo impossible. I probably could have safely gotten a little closer, but I wanted to keep the Casey Jones village in the background as I felt it should be included in the photo of “his” locomotive. Also a partial WH sign would have likely been deemed “clutter.”
