Is this the same engine that was at the Cyclorama? I went there on a field trip in high school (or maybe middle school) and I just stood by the locomotive the whole time.

Yes, this is the same engine, the Western & Atlantic Texas. I visited the "Cyclorama" in Grant Park in elementary school. I can't recall if the building was named the Cyclorama, but the title Cyclorama actually refers to a special Civil War painting that was in the building with the Texas. You can see the Texas has been restored, and so has the Cyclorama (painting/diorama) itself. Both were removed from the Grant Park building (which, I believe, is now going to be used by Zoo Atlanta) and relocated to the Atlanta History Center. The public opening of the Cyclorama at the AHC opens Friday, February 22, 2019. For more information, check out atlantahistorycenter.com.
