Thought they had 16 M2s remaining in service - what happened to the other 6? And for equipment operating on an "exception basis" (i.e., when they didn't have enough M8s to cover all trains), I've seen them quite a bit lately. Curious as to why are they being retired now - are those additional M8s going to be arriving soon?

The other 6 have been sitting in New Haven for a couple weeks now.
