Sweet shot! Too bad the Metroliners did not live up to their full expectation, despite reaching a 164 mph roaring through Princeton Junction in testing way back 1968. The PRR, as I understood it, had a goal of running these at 150 mph.

Thanks Mitch. I hope that car No. 860, in the outdoor collection of the RR Museum of PA, can soon be properly restored and opened to the public. It's the only Metroliner car in its original configuration.
