Nice photo here GuotCW - excellent capture. When you restored, is this locomotive operational? It is interesting to see it in such a "lonely" location. Is this also outside the local business you mention? It would be nice to see it find a "home" on a tourist line somewhere. It needs to "stretch its legs out" on a rail line somewhere.

The loco is operational and will be put thru some test runs on the Shenandoah Valley RR (SVRR). The owner, Precision Locomotive Services LLC based in Staunton, VA is looking to sale it once test runs are complete. The picture I captured is on a private siding.

Hello, I am the son of one of the three owners. This loco is owned by Precision Locomotive Sales and Leasing. This geep is going to have test runs on the SVRR and the Buckingham Branch railroad also for testing. Before this loco was restored it threw a rod in the crank and CN abandoned it. We are nearing the end of the restoration. Enjoy.
