Doing a little research on the venerable old GEEP it turns out it was purchased by the UP in 1954 as the 234 wearing a Leslie A200... It appears that it went to AMTRAK in 1975 and it had a Nathan P5.....in 1983 it sported a Leslie S5T.....and here it is in 2004 with a Nathan M5....the last place I could find it was scrapping in Bethel,MN....no whistle at all! The old GEEP had a longer career with AMTRAK then it did with the UP and had better whistle's too.......Tom.

Now owned by ISLX and has had its nose chopped.
