I used to live in Alaska and was very fun to ride there Christmas trains they used to do, and they have some fantastic looking locomotives. But since the traffic is so limited never saw any freight trains and only remember actually seeing one passenger train, but also didn't live near the railroad. (6 hour drive away) and wasn't into trains as much as now, (railfan MRL now) but were a fine sight to see. Very nice photo
