Almost like a modern Otis Elevating Railway from the Catskill mountains, only almost 125 years later!

Fascinating operation and a wonder of modern technology, Georg. Great capture and wonderful photo. This almost reminds me of the car/cabins one has to ride to the top of the Great Saint Louis Arch in Saint Lewis, Missouri. Those cars climb the arch from the bottom to the top, and at certain levels of elevation adjust themselves so that passengers are level and not toppling over as the outer frame of the cars roll as they make the climb.
