It's amazing how little things change in 3 decades. I walked this spot just a month ago and except for the M-1 being in the "house", it looks the same.....OK, maybe the grass is a little taller. Don't you love trying to "level" EBT Yard shots? I have shots in which nothing....and I mean NOTHING....is plumb. Nice job leveling this one, BTW!

Thanks, Kevin. I suspect that, given the reliability of the verticals, this photo isn't level at all! I've walked around many old railroad facilities, and none have the magic of a walk around Orbisonia, whether something is running or not. The Kovalchick uncertainty has hovered over the EBT since well before I took this photo. Hopefully the family will find a buyer with the wherewithal to get the road running again.
