John, it does have some similarities. I have another shot on here that is more head on and you can see some significant differences in the door placement and three window design.

Thanks. I have seen your other photos. The front of the cab is very different. I wonder why the cab design never hit it off.

Maybe it's just my taste for weird locomotives showing through, but I've always had a liking for this one. It's interesting how completely different it is from the wide-cab design they actually went with.
