More like the brakeman lol Snow Service pays like a slot machine. You used to have to bid on it, thus it was high seniority because of the very high pay. Now I've heard it goes to the Extra Board. I could be wrong.

Ahhh, Donner. Grew up in Sacramento and spent much time in the Sierras. Not uncommon to get up to 4 to 6 feet of snow in a 24 hour period. Interstate 80 gets closed, the Flangers and Snow Plows get fired up on the railroad !

Yea it's probably right, about it being the brakeman. And yea I think your right it changed to the extra board. Nothing beats the severe Donner weather.
