Wonderful image, there is SO much going on here. The second car in the train looks like one of Pennsy's very few fluted side cars built by Budd, originally for the"Southwind." While different in many ways, it goes me a sense of what the steamboat to PRR connection at Cape Charles, VA must have looked like, as Baldwins also seemed to be the preferred power on Pennsy's Delmarva lines. I had just had my 4th birthday on this date.
