Nice shot. The bells on MEC's GP38s were originally in the usual location, but MEC moved them up front when they rebuilt them in the late '70s/early '80s. They also got new K5LA horns and ditch lights during the rebuild process. MEC was a very early adopter of ditch lights and began adding them to locomotives 16 years before the FRA required them.
