Is the running rail really as buckled as it looks, about half way between the loco and the bottom of the photograph?

I'm sure it's exaggerated by the telephoto lens. Hope they don't make a mess of the main track getting that tracked crane off!

The side boom has rubber cleats, that dip in the track is the siding not the main track and doubt as big as it looks.

Rubber cleats or not, that thing would probably turn the rail if they just went up and over it at an angle to get it off the tracks. I suspect they use some kind of "ramp" for that.

Always have lots of wood on hand and try to drive down the tracks from a crossing and such. They are not as heavy on their feet as they look thanks to the length tracks.
