One heck of a fantastic photo, John. The coach color seems wrong, but in black & white it would work. The smoke seems to be an entity all its own. This photo gets my PCA nomination. Well done, John.

Thanks Steve. The locomotive was not firing well and barely made it up the long 2% grade. A 4000HP electric was taken off the lead of a freight train just ahead of it to tow the train the remainder of the way to Tangiwai.
