Posted by Tom Nelligan on May 13, 2017  September 1980 was when the Amtrak LRC set first went into revenue service out of Boston, so you probably saw an equipment move or test run to or from from the Bombardier plant. The Amtrak evaluation ended in 1982, not long after my photo was taken, and the locomotives and cars went back to Canada.
