If I recall correctly, I think several of the 600-class Dash 9's were rebuilt to AC44C4M series (AC traction with A1A trucks). If they are going that far to rebuild them, I can't see why PTC couldn't be part of the rebuild. But, with the fall off in rail traffic, who knows if the program has been curtailed...
