The background reminds me of The Benny Hill Show - "Just what the public wants - new faces!" Note even the Lehigh Valley kept two tracks in service through here, showing the pure folly of ripping up Main Track 1 by Conrail in the 1980s, as they moved all of their high priority freights onto this line from the Amtrak owned ex-PRR northeast corridor route.
