That is one sweet image, love the interaction between the crew and the photographer, there is not much of this anymore, if any.

This was the same train we'd photographed in Yale, BC, and I suspect the caboose crew was pretty impressed we actually were able to chase the train this far in the weather conditions at the time. That and my experience has always been that Canadian crews are quite friendly.
