I finally learned why Doyle's locomotive love is an Alco-PA of Nickel Plate Road, numbered 190 & painted Blue. A man I've admired for many years for dedicating his life, labor & time to the preservation, refurbishing and care of locomotives that are a big part of all of our railroad history. I discovered a short program on YouTube that all railfans should watch. Many of you may already have. For many years, I thought Doyle's true locomotive love was the SP 4449. Wow! Was I awakened.
