Here's my question. Is that a Tyson reefer we see on the flat car? This was years before any trucking company was using piggy back to move their wagons. I wonder what the story on the reefer was?

There were many companies shipping with piggyback trains dating back to the 1960's.

Thanks, Caleb. Actually, I'm aware of that, (I was picking up wrecked piggy back trailers back in the early 80's). But in this period, it was pretty rare to see a piggy back other than a railroad trailer, or a leasing company, let alone a reefer. Before JB Hunt's now legendary train ride, rarely would one see a truckload company trailer. LTL, sure. Reefer? Rarely.
