Santa Fe was the class of the industry - no point letting its famous trains have their names sullied by Amtrak when Amtrak didn't keep up the standards.

Not that EMD ever asked my preferences, but I prefer the angled FP45 type front on the SDP40F instead of the later and easier to make flat front.
