I wonder when the Google map pictures were taken. Wandering southwest along tracks to what looks like an intermodal yard between photo location and Wylie; there from the yard to down around Wylie Cemetery an astonishing number of houses have blue tarps over their roofs. Several have bare wood visible, or even missing surface. There must have been quite a storm through there.

A major hail storm hit the Wylie TX area on April 2nd causing over 1.5 billion estimated damage to homes. Most of the homes and businesses got hammered with baseball size hail. I live in east Plano and one of my vehicles had $2600 hail damage. Plano, Murphy, Wylie, Lavon got hit hard.
