That's an amazing combination of power that could only have been found during the early days of Conrail, or before that, in the early days of Penn Central. Makes sense, I guess, if you consider that one company was really just a re-born, larger, version of the other.

Curious why the crew did not have their power set arranged so that they could enjoy operating from that newly refurbished GE on one end of the set or the other.
