Hi Another aspect is, that the Re 425 was for a long time the tractive effort benchmark for all electrics in Europe. The germans but also the french and belgian locomotives were tested on the BLS and pittet against this locomotive. It held until the BR120 of germany pushed it from the throne. Felix
