Those FM OP engines got around. The pumping station in my New Orleans, LA suburb had 3 surplus FM submarine engines for pump power. The aux generator on the nuclear ship "Savannah" (currently moored in Baltimore) is an FM OP. It is positioned behind the bridge. Question. When the locos above were put into passenger service, were steam heat boilers installed? Did the original design leave room for them? Thanks.

She's a real beauty. I haven't seen any FM loco's on display out here in the west. Great shot, Bill. PCA.
