As a long time Michigan resident (35+ years), I can tell you that this will likely still be possible for a long time. Being that it costs a lot of money to paint locomotives in CN colors, and it adds weight, hurting it's fuel efficiency, they don't paint units that look as good as these unites do. The GT units are generally used for short hauls to industries, added emergency HP, and yard jobs.
