Well Axel - you sure timed your visit from Switzerland right! Sure, the Lerro photo charter with R&N #425 was the following Monday and Tuesday, but talk about an added bonus - blue skies, snow and steam two days in a row two days before on the one weekend that Strasburg opens the season with - and a freshly rebuilt and repainted 2-10-0, no less! And you nailed it! Right place, right time, and the right set of skills. One of the best I've seen from this location. Nice use of the trees to fill the otherwise cloud free sky.
