Cornstalks, cows, and color. A wonderful photo...'looks like something in a Lucius Beebe book.

Ouch - carn-evil cars! I've often tried to persuade Pete Lerro on doing a retro-1980's charter at the New Hope and Ivyland but I don't know that I'd ever go to such an extreme as this! I must say, even GW #90 looks better today then in this Pennsy inspired scheme. Perhaps it's the white tires more than anything else. On the other hand, I do like seeing the third dome on the boiler. Great nostalgic throwback, Doug. Strasburg has come a long way in that last 30+ years. Every generation has it's look which seems fitting then (and the cars do have an Amish tourist attraction look to 'em) but I don't imagine today's look will alter so wildly in the next 20 to 30 years!
