Several thoughts came to mind. First, what the heck is that? Second, looks like something a garden railroader kitbashed. Third, that's a cool idea. Fourth, yes, Virginia, there is a prototype for everything.

This is way cool and looks very kit-bashed! I like the idea of the use of a standard truck-- much more economical to produce.

That fuel tank comment has me wondering; for an industrial switcher or shunter which fuel factor is more important, miles per gallon or average running hours per tank full?
