Lived in Macon, GA, in 1970s, was a pretty decent place: now hear the economy has hit them hard. Hmm, that empty foundation there; rusty pipes have me wondering whether it had been a water tower during the steam age.

FSWood - There are quite a number a busy industries in the area that most of the rail action is. However, there are some places in Macon that you don't want to go alone for sure. Me and a buddy were discussing what the structure could have been, but never did come up with anything concrete (no pun intended). That theory is as good or better than any we thought of.
