Its a SAD commentary, that of the several RRs which had DL-109s, NONE were saved.

I didn't make the connection immediately, however the Putnam Station has been well preserved by an excellent restaurant which features trackside outdoor seating, with tables right where those gentlemen are standing. There's a fence between the platform and the near track ( which still sees Providence & Worcester freights) , of course.
