Did WM chop the nose on all their Geeps? I believe this unit was originally numbered WM 25, and I think this one got painted in Chessie colors and eventually was on the Great Walton in Covington, GA where it appeared in some episodes of "In The Heat of the Night".

Western Maryland GP-9 #25 (CS6400) has been restored to its WM speed lettering and is currently alive and well on the Georges Creek Railway. It is stored along with WM 303 in Barton Md. Incidentally it was the first unit to recieve a "Chop nose", by the WM shops, in Hagerstown, MD. and the only one that did not originally recieve a one piece windshield.
