Thanks for the history Bill its very interesting. The UP as much as I like it is big business just like WM and its huge,,,,,, but I digress the UP aint nothing like WM . UP has unions and has paid pretty good wages to their employees with health benefits and has helped build America and brought a lot of people to their destinations safely and intact and if you were a kid a few years ago ,yea rito I wish it was ...... it was so fun riding the UP streamliners boy I thought I was going to heaven on a train. Well, I got off track a little bit so now ill get to the point. Open UP the Tennessee Pass don't call it the Tennessee Past an keep that line operating for less congestion ,beauty and maybe a alternate Amtrak route twice a week. Great photo 2.
