Yes, a shop truck on the front end only. It will be shoved back into the shop via a switch engine when the front truck is ready to reinstall. Temporarily, the 6936 was a CDA40X.

That is interesting for sure. I bet they are shop trucks because the DD40AX needed a 4 axle truck to run on the road. Maybe a burned out traction motor?
