Back in the New Haven days this siding used to lead to a very small ( 1 or 2 stall, can't remember EXACTLY ) engine house which would be off to the left of this photo. The siding was also the "home" of a single Budd RDC which operated between New London and Worcester, MA, making connections to/from Shoreline trains.
