This locomotive was my first exposure to Class 1 main line steam. When I first saw her, I thought the Chessie colors were tastefully applied. The ride behind her equally memorable.

Note that some mischief has been performed on 2101's front end- number boards and centered headlight. As for the paint, there's no accounting for taste (or "tasteless"!). Incidentally, I don't know of any reference to Reading Company ever being a part of Chessie System.
