Wow - ''Falcone'', nice photo and interesting explanation. Too bad the County wasted all the money they put into trying to revitalize it just to abandon it again. What a waste of Tax-payer dollars to start a project that they didn't have the funding for to begin with. Better to have left it alone as they did in 1992 than throw money they didn't have away.

NIMBY opposition (mostly from Springfield) was relentless. Danger to the local children was exaggerated, but the NIMBY concern about garbage trains going this way may have been valid.
