The first two cars started life as N&W "County/University/College" series 10/6 sleepers; the third was originally a PRR 21 roomette "Inn" series sleeper. These cars were converted by PRR to corridor coaches in the mid-1960s, and many soldier on in tourist operation today on railroads including the Western Maryland Scneic and Saratoga & North Creek.

These were the first and only F's I ever got to see in operation.
