Could this have possibly been one of the least known passenger trains in North America ? I was thinking that THIS was EXACTLY WHY Budd invented the RDC, but then it certainly costs less to use what you already have on hand than to have to BUY something NEW. Was the coach a "through car" to/from another train ?

Research into the Timetable Archive revealed that Trains 25 & 26 operated daily on a 4 hour, 8 stop, schedule between Carlsbad, NM and Clovis NM where they offered a cross-platform transfer to/from Santa Fe No 1 & 2 The "San Francisco Chief."
