Can someone tell me what that yellow contraption is between the number boards? Looks like some kind of 'kiddie horn'...

That little yellow contraption is an electronic bell built by Graham White. Ontario Northland their brass bells out for "E-Bells" de to the fact that the air lines on the brass bells would freeze inthe winter time rendering the bell useless and causing a safety issue.

Steven this is taken at the Fern Piches Scrap yard spur. I was standing where the CN Alderdale/Newmarket Subdivision crossed at a diamond (now removed) with the ONR Temagami subdivision. It can be accessed via John Street in North Bay Ontario.
