Much of the restoration work on this car was done by a neighbour of mine in Verdun, Mr. Ed Lambert, during many hours in the 1970's and 1980's. Ed was a foreman at Allis-Chalmers in Lachine, an ex-Navy man with extraordinary skills who was also a remarkable model railroader. His O scale layout was entirely scratchbuilt, including a model of 611. Nice to see the car well taken care of.
