The E60's were originally equipped with standard headlights in the nose and flashing lights above the windshield. Over time the nose lights were removed and the flashing lights were converted to two standard white bulbs. Due to tracking problems they were restricted to 90 mph (the speedometers went up to 150 as I recall) but as you can see from the number of cars they sure could pull.
