Built in 1909 by the American Bridge Company (for the Wisconsin Central Railway) at 2,682 feet long and 184 feet above the St Croix River with five steel arches, this is the most beautiful high level steel arched bridge! What it lacks in size it holds in grace! Even today, it is a great photographic subject from land and air. Thanks for your sharing this historic capture, CRPA.
