What kind of a clip could those engines manage through stations? I love the idea of one of those whizzing by near top speed.

My Grandma's home town, her house is only a few blocks from that station, in the direction the train is headed is a wooden viaduct built in 1913 we used to watch trains from when we visited. The crossing near there on her street was one of the old wig-wags. The best part about visiting her was the crossing was only 2 blocks away so we could see all kinds of trains from her front yard. Thanks for posting this picture.
